![]() | James Gao In June 2008, James graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics and a Master's degree in Management Science & Engineering. He is a graduate of the Math/Science Magnet at Montgomery Blair High School and has extensive private tutoring experience. He turned down full-tuition merit scholarships to Caltech and Johns Hopkins as well as acceptances from Princeton and MIT to attend Stanford. At Stanford, he was a dorm tutor who taught math, chemistry, and economics. He currently works for a tech start-up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he also privately tutors three students. His interests include playing violin and surfing. |
![]() | Matt Baron In May 2007, Matt graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in mathematics. Matt grew up in Montgomery County and graduated from the Math/Science Magnet at Montgomery Blair High School. He received a 1580 out of 1600 on his SATs, 800 out of 800 on all his SAT II exams, perfect 5's on all his APs, and was the recipient of a National Merit Finalist scholarship. Matt is currently a Ph.D. student at Princeton University in applied mathematics. He has tutored over 30 students in SATs and math. His interests include running and piano. |

![]() | Stacy Chu Stacy is a senior at Columbia University majoring in neuroscience. She received a 2350 out of 2400 on the SAT and was a National Merit Finalist and recipient of the U.S. News Achievement Scholarship for New Jersey. She is involved in public and global health initiatives and plans to attend medical school next fall. Stacy enjoys playing violin and has performed with ensembles at Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. In addition to music, she enjoys painting, skiing, and snowboarding.
