James Gao
In June 2008, James
graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics and a
Master's degree in Management Science & Engineering.
He is a graduate of the Math/Science Magnet at Montgomery Blair High School and has extensive private tutoring experience. He
turned down full-tuition merit scholarships to Caltech and Johns
Hopkins as well as acceptances from Princeton and MIT to attend
Stanford.
At
Stanford, he was a dorm tutor who taught math, chemistry, and
economics. He currently works for a tech start-up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he also privately tutors three students. His
interests include playing violin and surfing.
